Three Delicious Dressing Recipes For A Great Waldorf Salad

One of the best salads that can be consumed during a torrid summer is Waldorf. It is delicious and has tasty ingredients. The advantage is that it does not require a lot of time to be prepared and it’s not expensive. Another advantage of the Waldorf salad is that dressings can be done and kept in the refrigerator until they are used (but not for more than 48 hours). So, if you desire to eat a fresh and yummy salad, you only need to prepare the main ingredients and pour one of these three amazing dressings that go perfectly. The dressing that is used for the salad should not be poured until serving. While it’s kept in the fridge it should be perfectly covered. Here are the recipes.


Recipe number 1: Classic Dressing

You will need 1/2 cup of mayonnaise, 1/4 cup of sour cream, 1 teaspoon of honey, 1/4 teaspoon of salt and the juice of half a lemon. All the ingredients need to be mixed together until the dressing is smooth.


Recipe number 2: Simple Citrus Dressing

You will need 3/4 cup of mayonnaise, 1 tablespoon of fresh lime juice and 1 teaspoon of sugar. All the ingredients must be whisked until the dressing becomes smooth.


Recipe number 3: Spicy Cajun Dressing

You will need 1/2 cup of mayonnaise, 1/4 cup of nonfat simple yogurt, 1 teaspoon of Cajun seasoning, 2 teaspoons of grated orange zest and 4 tablespoons of orange juice. The ingredients must be whisked together until the compositions is smooth.
